Biography
I am an Irish archaeologist working and studying in Israel. My wife Dana and I had our first child in February.
My PhD is on how behavioral ecology and statistics-based ethnographic analogy might help us develop models for religious beliefs and practices during prehistory.
Aside from this research, I am currently publishing reports on digs I've directed in Israel, through the Nelson Glueck School of Biblical Archaeology (http://ngsba.org/en/). I am also involved in other cultural resource management and research-led excavations in Israel and beyond.
